It is a great pleasure to welcome you at the 3rd Congress of the Mediterranean Association of Neurological Surgeons (MANS) in Cairo, Egypt on December 13-15, 2022. In this troubled historical period, it is now more & more prominent that we meet each other in person; to share our knowledge & experience. This meeting will be done under auspices of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS); We are glad to organize a “WFNS Educational Course” in collaboration with Prof. Luis Borba, Chairman of the Educational & Training Committee of the WFNS on 13th December 2022.
This event is oganized in collaboration with the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS), Continental Association of African Neurosurgical Societies (CAANS), Pan-Arab Neurosurgical Society (PANS), Italian Society of Neurosurgery (SiNch), Moroccan Society of Neurosurgery (SMNC) and the Egyptian Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS). The first Congress was held in Algeria in 2016 under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohamed Djennas, the second Congress was held in Italy in 2018 under the chairmanship of Prof. Francesco Tomasello; we are extremely delighted to organize the 3rd MANS Congress in Egypt. The MANS Congress is intended as a big opportunity to let Neurosurgeons coming from the main Mediterranean European, North African and Middle East countries meet together.
Cairo had always been the meeting point of different cultures, with a remarkable history extending over thousands of years, and historical places attracting people from all over the world. The meeting takes place at “Ritz Carlton Hotel” located in the spark of the city, with an amazing panoramic view over the beautiful turquoise Nile River. Both scientific and social programs are outstanding; don’t miss our tour to visit Alexandria, the beautiful Egyptian Mediterranean city, on last day of the Congress.
